You’re probably wondering about our name… PLRPics.com ? You’re thinking “the pics part probably stands for pictures, but what does the PLR part mean?”
Well, the PLR stands for Private Label Rights. It’s an internet marketing term, that we thought should be used for pictures, photos, graphics and that sort of thing…since we are on the internet!
In the offline world, photos have always been referred to as “Royalty Free” or “Limited Use License” or something along those lines.
PLR really would be just about the same as Royalty Free with respect to usage on the internet. We are taking this idea one step further, and also offer a PLR license for both Offline and Online use!
That’s right, with our photos, you’ll have 2 choices…Online PLR only, or both Online and Offline.
We’ll explain it all on the main page here.
We realize that we are using terminology that you might not be used to with respect to photos, but we figured since we’re selling to internet marketers, let’s use the language the marketers are used to (we’re marketers too! It’s the same language we use all the time.) and not some antiquated wording just because that’s what the status quo is.
We hope you enjoy our little venture here, and we’re looking forward to a long-lasting and mutually beneficial relationship with you via this site.
